City offices will re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday\, July 5. \nArapahoe County\, including Centennial remains under a Stage 1 Fire Ban which means no open burning of any kind without a permit. Although there is currently a fire ban in Arapahoe County\, a handful of fireworks are allowed in the City of Centennial. “Permissible fireworks” are limited to those that do not explode\, leave the ground or fly through the air. For example sparklers\, cones\, snakes and fountains are allowed\, consistent with the State of Colorado. \nThe sale of all forms of fireworks in Centennial continues to be prohibited. The use and possession of all forms of fireworks will continue to be prohibited in parks and open spaces in the City.
