If you would like to participate, please meet between 10 and 10:15 am at the corner of E. Jamison Ave. and Gilpin Ct. We will be joined by neighbors and friends from the South Metro Fire Department and the Arapahoe Sheriff’s Mounted Police.

Immediately following the parade, Justin and Keisha Denton, our neighbors at 1787 E Jamison Ave (corner of Williams and Jamison Ave), will be grilling hot dogs and burgers. Popsicles will be served! Everyone is welcome to come! Bring a drink and bring a side to share if able!

A Message from the City of Centennial:

The Centennial City offices, including municipal court, will be closed Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. City offices will re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 5.

Arapahoe County, including Centennial remains under a Stage 1 Fire Ban which means no open burning of any kind without a permit. Although there is currently a fire ban in Arapahoe County, a handful of fireworks are allowed in the City of Centennial. “Permissible fireworks” are limited to those that do not explode, leave the ground or fly through the air. For example sparklers, cones, snakes and fountains are allowed, consistent with the State of Colorado.

The sale of all forms of fireworks in Centennial continues to be prohibited. The use and possession of all forms of fireworks will continue to be prohibited in parks and open spaces in the City. In the case of a fire ban, fireworks would be included and enforced by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, along with local fire and code officials.

Remember fireworks can be dangerous. Please be responsible and help make this 4th of July safe and enjoyable for everyone.
