Important Details

Restrictions on what can go in are the same as landfill restrictions:

• No wet paint (dried paint or painted items are fine)
• No electronics
• No hazardous materials – oils, solvents – flammable liquids, etc.
• No radioactive material
• No tires, no batteries
• No refrigerators.

Saturday, June 7:

• A wood chipper will be available from 9 a.m. until noon, Saturday only, on S. Williams Street between E. Jamison Ave. and E. Dry Creek Place.
• For everyone’s safety, nothing other than chipped yard waste will be allowed into the dumpster during the hours the wood chipper is in use.
• When bringing debris to the wood chipper, please use a tarp or truck to keep from dropping debris on our streets.
• Dumpster 1 will be available for household/misc. items from noon until 3 p.m. (or earlier, if full) at the same location as the wood chipper.

Sunday, June 8:

• Dumpster 2 will be available from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (or earlier, if full) on the 1600 block of E. Jamison Ave at S. Humboldt St.

We Need Volunteers!

Please help us host another successful Dumpster Days weekend by volunteering to help for one hour. All volunteers need to be willing and able to do is check-in AHCA members as they bring items to the dumpster/chipper (a list of current members will be provided) and accept completed membership forms and payment for residents who wish to join/renew membership. If you would like to assist your neighbors in loading the dumpster it is appreciated but not required of volunteers.
