Board Election FAQs

What does the AHCA Board do?

The Board meets every other month, usually on the third Tuesday of the month, to discuss local and neighborhood news, address members’ concerns, and plan social events.

How much time is involved?

Board members are expected to attend the AHCA bi-monthly meetings, which usually last about an hour. There are also a few social events each year that Board members typically plan and attend.

What does the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) do?

The ACC helps neighbors understand the requirements of our neighborhood covenants. Common examples are roofing, painting, and construction. It is a 3-person committee that does not have regular meetings; rather the ACC meets when needed, most often when an official request is received.
