Highlights for October

Dear Neighbors,

With our beautiful autumn colors and leaves floating in the air, many of us are enjoying  walks through our wonderful neighborhood. We must all do our part to keep our neighborhood beautiful and well-kept.

This is a reminder that stockpiling is not allowed by our covenants and is not allowed by the  Centennial City Municipal code. If you have trash bags, useless items, or stuff you intend to  throw away some day, we encourage you to dispose of these items properly either using your  trash pick-up/garbage collector or hauling them away to a legal disposal site. When the items  are visible from the street or piled up in your backyard, it is a detractor for the neighborhood  and doesn’t make our properties attractive. Please do not put these items in the Right of Way (ROW) area outside of your property for storage.

Remember to keep sidewalks clear of basketball hoops, landscaping timbers, bikes, and other hazards. Many people walk our neighborhood, so let’s all stay good neighbors and help each  other avoid falls and tripping up on our sidewalks.

And lastly, for the health and safety of our neighbors, burning trash and outdoor open fires are not allowed per our covenants and the city municipal code. Particles released from the outside burning bring about poor air quality in our neighborhood and can be very harmful to people who are sensitive to air quality. Outdoor open fires bring about the risk of setting your  property or your neighbor’s property afire.

There are many fun outdoor activities this Fall. Let’s make sure to do our part to make Fall  enjoyable and safe for all.
