Call to order:

Meeting was opened by Alex Wolf at 7:08pm. Reading of the previous minutes was waived by a majority of those present.  There was no reading of correspondence and/or hearings. The meeting was hosted by Alex and Maggie Wolf.

Arapahoe Highlands Civic Association Business

  • Lila stated she sent an email to the association email with proposed corrections from previous minutes

• Treasurer’s Report:
  • Attendees and board aligned on and voted to approve the proposed AHCA budget for 2024 (with one dissenting vote). 
  • Membership drive was updated to 52 forms received

• Unfinished Business
  • Founders Day BBQ: Lila Greaves will lead and the event will take place on June 5th from 6-8PM. More info on this event and other events will be added under the events section and promoted via email, facebook group and flyers.
  • Dumpster & Woodchipper Weekend: Alex Wolf and Dorothea Diller will take the lead. June 7th & 8th are the proposed dates for the event.
  • 4th of July: Alex will work to secure mounted police and reach out to Candace Moon for Firetruck. Will maintain the same cadence as 2023.
• New Business
  • Grants: Aligned to send three grants for Dumpster, Chipper, Fall Festival. Brittany, Alex and Rachel will send these grants to the city.
  • Proposed Bylaw Updates: Board will send proposed updates to neighborhood in advance of vote in May.
