Neighborhood Alert

Vehicle Break-In

Monday March 27, 2023

Hello AHCA Neighbors,

The board was notified of a vehicle break-in this past Sunday, March 26th. The vehicle, which was parked in a driveway, was burglarized with some footage of the suspects driving by twice to go through the interior of the car. The cameras at the scene show the suspects driving from the Franklin Street entrance, turning around, and coming back from the Jamison Avenue entrance. Our neighbor is asking if anyone can provide security camera footage to turn over to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. Please see the contact information below if you are able to assist.

Note from Lois:

We are looking for any footage for Saturday night and Sunday morning that would give us more information about the vehicle and occupants. We have already established that the suspected vehicle had been driving around the neighborhood for a couple hours prior to the actual break-in, so anything you might have on your cameras would be helpful. Unfortunately, the Sheriff’s department has informed us that they are unable to obtain any information from the street cameras. With the help of the neighborhood, we might be able to furnish enough evidence for the police to follow through with an actual investigation.

Please remember to lock the doors of all vehicles that are parked outside of your homes!

Sincerely,
ACHA Board
